PACKAGE SEARCH sync data removal request

When enabling either sync & version tracking or system apps database contributions, the application data of the device is associated with a unique UUID (this can be seen in settings, below the version details of PACKAGE SEARCH), and sent to the PING service for processing.

This data is sent encrypted, and stored securely. It is not sold or provided to 3rd parties actively (though for system apps, these are shown on the website, so could be scraped).

If you'd like this data removed from PING, please:

  1. Turn off the setting in PACKAGE SEARCH
  2. Make a copy of the UUID in Settings
  3. Submit your request to project-support@bayton.org with the UUID of your device.
  4. Data will be expunged within 24 hours of acknowledgement
